The Shack Cast is something refreshing in the social housing sector. Dave will be chatting to some very well known figures in the sector and we won’t pull any punches. We will talk honestly and openly and you may even learn some home truths.

We have a great deal of Ettan and the company he founded, Help me Fix. Changing the way responsive repairs are delivered using video, Ettan is a respected prop tech Innovator and listening to his journey is inspiring.

Episode 7 – Tom Robins

Tom is one of the sectors most respected tech leaders, and the CEO of Switchee, an innovator who improves the quality of life for tenants by delivering real-time data that gives social housing providers the insight they need. Tom’s episode is insightful and dare we say entertaining.

Episode 8 – Gerry Kelly

We had always looked forward to our chat with Gerry, the founder of OptusApp, a recent startup that provides a tenants self service app. This episode is fun and, ok, it has a bit of rugby chat, but also interesting to hear Gerry’s own recent entry into the sector.

Episode 9 – Nick Shipton.

Nick is well known as an advocate of technology and specifically dynamic scheduling solutions over many years. We seem to cover a great deal from homelessness to the debate of whether a landlord is best served by best of breed solutions or those larger catch all systems.

Episode 10 – Matt Baird

Matt is not only a recruitment specialist in the sector, he is the founder of what is the most diverse, inspiring and informative forum the Social Housing Round Table. Matt, simply put, cares.
