Lugo is a 20 years established business providing ICT Managed Services, Cyber Security Solutions, Training and ICT Consulting. Lugo has been providing ICT and Cyber Security Services to the social housing sector for many years. Steven McGuire, our HA lead, has been working within the sector for 35 years. He is well known for being honest and open in communications and has made a positive impact on the Housing Sector in Scotland.
We are a team of 19 ICT professionals with high levels of industry accreditation from suppliers such as Microsoft, Lugo itself is a Microsoft Solutions Partner for Modern Work.
We understand that the ultimate aim of a Housing Association is to provide the best possible service to their tenants whilst working within current and forthcoming compliance and regulations. To this end our managed services includes a huge array of Cyber Security products, services, training and consulting. Keeping tenants records safe is crucial, and Lugo’s standard services helps to do just that!
Our experience within the HA sector, and in working with third party suppliers of HMS systems has been of huge benefit to our clients over many years of supporting the social housing sector. We are experts in the migration of data and applications to the Microsoft Cloud environment and have successfully managed many such projects for our clients. We are currently going through ISO9001 quality assurance certification, we are Cyber Essential Plus certified and most of our staff will be attending Cyber Adviser training early 2024. Importantly, Lugo understands the sector and the pressures it is under to comply with latest regulations along many fronts, we can take away one more worry from pour HA clients by managing their IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security needs to the highest levels.
We asked: What do you bring to Social Housing and the customer, the tenant?
They said: By providing excellent ICT Managed Services and Data Protection Services as a standard offering, we are helping to protect HA data and tenants details from data leaks and data hijacking. This minimises the risk of a notifiable data breach harmful to the Association and prevents tenant’s details from being used in a harmful way by criminals.
